General Surgery
Dr. Ted Roussere received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California at San Francisco in 1971, and his MD at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1975. He completed residencies in General Surgery at the University of California at Davis, and in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas Health Sciences at San Antonio. Dr. Roussere is Board Certified in General and Colon and Rectal Surgery. He was also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford School of Medicine until 2003. Dr. Roussere started the Trauma Service at San Jose Hospital in 1983, and is a Charter member and General Surgery Consultant for the O’Connor Hospital Wound Care Center. He is a member of the board of MDI where he serves as Treasurer and President of Medical Partners of Morgan Hill. Dr. Roussere currently serves as Medical Director at South Bay Surgery Center in Morgan Hill. He is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons, and maintains memberships in AMA, CMA, Santa Clara County Medical Association, American Society of General Surgeons, SAGES and the San Jose Surgical Society.
